Hello wondered what your relationship is to Ellen McCrossan, as she is my great grandmother.
Regards
Anne
Hello Anne,
Thank you for contacting.
Ellen (married George Hanlon in Dunfanachy) was my granny Helen Hanlon’s mother so would have been my great granny. Since my Dad died this year I’ve been trying to map the family tree. I always knew there was a connection with Donegal and I am thrilled to have Irish blood in my veins .Maggie
Hello Maggie
Many thanks for your reply. My granny was Annie Hanlon, the oldest of Ellen and George's children. Are you related to Alexander Hanlon, who emigrated to Australia.
My mother, who was Annie's daughter used to talk about her cousin Nulma in Australia?
It's lovely to share information about ancestors, especially Irish connections.
My own address is anne.fuggles@gmail.com
Kind regards
