When Bridget McTigue was born on February 27, 1871, in Kilcolman, Mayo, Ireland, her father, Michael, was 28, and her mother, also named Bridget(Curley), was 25. She married George S. Scully of Chilicothe, Ohio on June 3, 1896, in Springfield, Ohio. His parents were first generation Irish. He died in Cincinnati in 1938. They lived for a short time in Charleston, IL. George worked most of life on the railroad, including time in Dayton and Springfield, Ohio, and finally Cincinnati. 

They had two children during their marriage, Margueritte (nee Kelly), and Marie (nee Casey).  She apparently died as a young mother in c1900 in USA at the age of 30. The two girls were raised by their mother's sister, Mary Teresa McNearny and her husband Charles in Springfield, Ohio. Their father visited them, but did not raise them after Bridget's death. There are no records discovered of her death and buriel. She may be buried in St. Joseph New Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio, but no death certificate has been found. A person by this name was buried in June 1901 and close to the cemetery where George S Scully was buried 37 years later. He never remarried.
