Honor Ann STINES (or STYNES) and her older brother James were convicted at the County Kildare Quarter Sessions on 25 Aug 1849 of Larceny, having stolen potatoes from Miss Graham of Athy, Kildare. Honor was transported to VDL in 1850; James was transported to WA in 1853. Other family members were also convicted of similar food stealing offences during this period of the Irsh Famine.
