Michál was married to Bridget Christopher (born 1831) who came from either Mayo or Mahon. Bridget's parents were John Christopher (born 1798) and Mary Christopher (born 1799). Bridget also had two siblings, Ann and Thomas. Co. Leitrim is also an area of interset to the Christopher family.
