Hi all. Wondering if anyone can help. My great grandfather William McGettigan b 1833 to Thomas McGettigan b 1806 and Ann Park b 1809. William was the eldest of 11 children. Does may one have any info on Ann Park? William married Ellen McCarter and the had 3 daughters Ann Jane my grandmother, Catherine and Ellen. I am interested in find out about Ellen McCater and her family of origin. Ellen's name on Ann Jane's certificate was McInery on Catherine's Macteer but when I went to the cemetery where my g grandmother was buried I was assured by the book keeper there her birth name McCarter. Any help would be appreciated . Ellen and her daughters were born in Donegal but moved to Derry in 1901. I have found a death certificate for a William McGettigan who died in Milford workhouse in 1920. How can I find out if this is my William???
