I have an Anne RUANE in my tree from Cloonislaun, which is just outside Ardnaree in Kilmoremoy. Don't have dates for her, but she married a Pat CONMEE and they had at least one son, Owen CONMEE b. 16 Dec 1833 Cloonislane [sic]. Do you see any connection? Do you have info about RUANE parents?

I'm afraid I don't know anything about them at all, this surname is a fairly new discovery for me so I'm still digging; apparently not an uncommon surname in the area.
