Migrated to/Born in UK

Bridget is my great-great-great grandmother, born c.1815 in County Mayo. She and her husband, Michael Drury, seem to have emigrated to England some time between 1843 and 1848 (quite possibly in response to the potato famine).

Her daughter, Bridget Theresa Drury, was born in Liverpool on 25 December 1849 and she married Michael Tobin who was from County Clare.

They married in 1870 in Liverpool, the same year that their first child (my great-grandfather Herbert John) in Lancashire.  That same year they went to the USA but that did not apparently work out as they returned to England and then in 1876 arrived in New Zealand where they settled in Auckland.

Bridget and Michael had 14 children (all but one survived to adulthood, one having died in the USA). Ten were born in NZ.
