Wife was Mary Mitchell, also born in Galway born 1808, died 1880 in Iowa, USA.
It is possible that the Catholic marriage record for Killascobe, Galway, Tuam Diocese may show the marriage of Mich'l King and Mary Mitchell in Feb, 1832.
I believe that the following are the dates of birth of their 5 children who were all born before they left Ireland:
Martin King 1835, Mary Ann King, 1838, Margaret King, 1842, Michael King, 1846, and James King, 1848. I am wondering if these names would help someone find for me the birth or baptism records of any of these children. I also believe that James made it to America but that he may not have lived much beyond childhood (of course, not sure about that part).
