I have the same Alexander Reiling (Reeling / Ruiling) in my tree hes my 3rd Great Grandfather, Born in Ireland abour 1801 - Died in Whithaven in January 1870 , I was told by my grandather that the family name was German with the male line been a sailor who was ship wreaken off the irish coast but i cannot clafiy this. I would love to be able to prove ths too be correct.
