My 4x great grandmother was Mary Walsh b. approx 1830ish in County Mayo (or Sligo) who married my 4x great grandfather Jacob Carroll. Could Catherine be our Mary's sister? There were also Walsh's from Westport in County Mayo. You can also join the Walsh project on the Gedmatch site if you have done your DNA.
Catherine Walsh, my 3RD Great grandmother, was married to someone with the last name of O'Brien. Gave birth to my 2ND Great grandmother, Bridgett O'Brien in 1829. Her father is James Walsh born in county Mayo and was a farmer and school teacher.

My 3rd great grandmother was born abt 1800. I feel like she would be a little too old to be Mary's sister.
