Mary Ann LALLY and her sister, Margaret, were in Loughrea Workhouse in 1848 before travelling to Sydney, Australia as part of the Earl Grey Irish Orphan Scheme. The sisters travelled aboard the ship, Inchinnan.
In 1853, Mary Ann married Isaac Schoch WALTON in Sydney. A few years later, they moved to the south coast of NSW. Mary Ann and Isaac had 8 children (4 died in childhood).
Mary Ann died, in Berry NSW on 11th March 1914 and was buried in Berry Cemetery.
