Stayed in Ireland
My G Grandfather, Johannes (John) O'Brien married Ellenam (Ellen) Prendergast on 20 February 1855 at Newcastle Parish (Diocese of Waterford and Lismore) they lived on their farm at Ballymacarbry.
They had 4 children: Catherinum (Catherine B 1856); Patritium ( Pat B 1858); Maria (Mary B 1860) and my Grandfather John (B1863). Catherine and John immigrated to Australia in 1882 and, we have all the information on them, we were told the remainder of the family immigrated to the U S.
We have established that Patritium stayed in Ireland. He married Johanna Millea - they had two sons, Patrick and John.
