Thank you for your response. It seems my Bridget Power married George Paul in St. Patrick's RC Church Fermoy in October 1832. Witnesses were a John Power and Mary Riordan. Mary Paul, daughter of Bridget and George was baptised in 1833 and son George in 1835, both in Fermoy. Bridget and George Paul and daughter Mary travelled to Australia in 1837 on ship "Alfred" and as young George wasn't with them I assume he had died. The shipping information stated that George was 27, his native place was Cork and occupations Shoemaker and Gardener: Bridget was 25 (therefore born approximately 1812), native place Fermoy, occupation House Servant. They could both read and write. Daughter Mary's age 4 1/2. They were Bounty Passengers brought to Australia by William Walker and Co. I have been unable to trace Bridget's or George's parents. George's parents may have been Charles Paul and Mary M...... - hard to decipher her surname on George's death certificate, possibly Maslin or Martin or ?
It would be much appreciated if you can assist me in any way.

The names you mentioned acre not familiar to me, but the National Library o Ireland has early baptism and marriage records on line. Perhaps you will find more information of interest there. My Power Family is a challenge too.
