Margaret was born about 1838 in Mayo, possibly Attymass.
She had an elder sister Ellen (b.c1833), and in the mid 1850 they went to England and settled in the Bedern area of York.
In 1859 she married Joseph Robson in St. George's Catholic Chapel. On the marriage certificate her (deceased) father's name is given as Patrick, a farmer.
She and Joseph raised a family of five children in York. They died within weeks of each other in 1900. Ellen never married and died in York in 1906.
