James Wynn (Wynne, Winn) was born in Co. Sligo probably between 1821 & 1825. In 1853 he married Bridget Jennings and almost immediated immigrated to Scranton, PA, where he worked in the coal mines. In 1878, he moved his family to O'Neill, NE, where he farmed. Following the death of his wife in 1893, he moved 20 miles to live with his daughter and son-in-law, John Patrick McNichols. He is burried n the O'Neill cemetary with Bridget.
