Patrick Carrigan : Short Biography

Patrick is my immigrant ancestor on my mother’s side. Patrick was married at St Michael’s RC church in Philadelphia PA in 1845 to Sara Agnew also Irish born. In his lifetime Patrick fought in the US Civil War, became a US citizen, became a Philadelphia police officer, bought a house and had two sons that lived to adulthood- Peter and John. All we know about Patrick is that he is Irish born. We do not know what ship he arrived on, when he arrived or where he is from in Ireland. We would very much like to know where Patrick is from. We know he had two sisters Anne and Catherine.
