Peggy came to IrelandXO researching her Sheahan ancestry. She added a profile for Denis Sheahan here. He was potentially the first of the Sheehan in her family to come to the USA. The first record she had was of him enlisting in the Union Army in Ohio during the Civil War. She searched Roots Ireland database for birth or other records but can't find anything for his name and approximate birth date.
She added details of her ancestors and connected with local volunteer Jennifer Jean who began looking into her connections.
