Hello All my Grandmother b 11sept 1899 is in the annals of beara vol 3. Her parents were Jeremiah Murphy and Johanna ONeill. I have found her marriage to Timothy O Sullivan on 10 July 1920 St Finnbar Church. I am working on Murphy side trying to find her birth certificate/ record.
I believe I found her parents marriage in Roman Catholic chapel castletownbere Jeremiah Murf and Johanna ONiell 2 Feb 1892 from superintendent registrar Castletownbere. Parents listed as both Jeremiah, not very clear.
other question the Pub in Castletownbere that my great aunt owned mentioned in annals of beara Catherine and Mary. My mom used to visit there. They would ferry her over from Wales by herself. Wouldn’t it be great to know where and have a toast there?
On the Sullivan Side Timothy was born May 10, 1895 in Durrus I believe. It looks like Laurrus on Marriage. His father is also listed as Timothy. I found a Timothy marrying a Julia November 1, 1892 looks like Saint liberty Street city of Cork superintendent registrars.
I would be happy for any encouragement and information at all. Very grateful -my mother is 99 1/2.
