I see that Catherine Donnelly came from Glasdrumman, parish of Fenagh, and that there was a Patrick Conboy farming there in Griffiths Valuation (1857). So I suspect that may be John’s father. Patrick Conboy farmed plot 2 and Patrick Donnelly farmed plot 8, so John married the girl next door, as so often happened. Actually the 2 properties look to be about 500 yards apart. Either side of the modern R202.
