Census 1828 Patrick,Michael and Thomas on plot 72
census 1860 Michael and owen
Have got back to the marriage of Michael Woods and Cath Daly on 23 December 1834 which is all correct
the only matches I can find for his parents and to match with the 1828 census are
Parents Peter Woods and Cathe Ruddy
children
patrick 10 January 1815
Thomas 4 November 1817
Michael 15 November 1820 but would be 14 at marriage is it possible
Owen 3 April 1822
James 29 July1829
the other one found is James Woods and Sara McQuaid children
Michaei 2 October 1798 James 27 March 1801 Owen 19 June 1815
so no Thomas and Patrick and Michael has to be with them in 1828
could anyone please help or advice me as I am now stuck

Trish:
You refer to the 1828 census but I believe what you reviewed were the Tithe listings for Creggan civil parish in 1827. Thomas Woods, Patrick Woods and Michael Woods were separate lease holders. They were likely related but no way to determine from the Tithes how they were related. They would not be children of Peter Woods since Peter's children were 12 or less when the Tithe listings were compiled and a child would not be leasing land.
Potentially there is a connection to James Woods but again no way to confirm.
