Hi there
i'm trying to find out about my great grandfather's family. His name was James Lynch born 1868 in tully Corker, Clogher. By 1903 he was living in Sheffield working as a coachman at the Winter Street Fever hospital. He died some time after 1919, when his wife Alice died.but I don't know when or why.
His mother, Bridget, died in Eskra in 1899, and the following year, in 1900, his father Felix died.
His brother, Patrick (born 1870), and sisters Bridget (born 1875) and Sarah Jane (born 1877) remained in Tully Corker and I can find them in the 1901 and 1911 censuses - but nothing after that.
Can anybody help me find out what happpened to James, Patrick, Bridget or Sarah Jane?
I've attached a photo of James and his wife Alice taken in the early 1900s.
I would be really grateful
Many thanks

You might get a brief subscription to irishnewsarchive, and then search for obituaries / death notices.

Also, you might find their deaths at irishgenealogy.ie civil records.
Good luck.

Lois:
See next to last record at the link https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1900/05769/4630445.pdf for the death record of Felix. Daughter Sarah was the informant.
1901 census for Tullycorker for Lynch children including Patrick and Sarah http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tyrone/Cecil/Tullycorker/1725942/

Lois:
I located the 1864 civil marriage record for Felix Lynch and Bridget Corrigan. Names of fathers are shown.
I searched on the free site irishgenealogy.ie for marriage records and death records and did not see any for the three siblings of James and death records are available until 1873. My guess is that they all emigrated to England

The Valuation Revision records on the PRONI site show Patrick Lynch as still farming in Tullycorker in 1929, when that series of records finishes. So his death must be after that.
You could search the GRONI site for deaths in the Clogher registration area post 1929. On-line death records on that site go to 1973. Deaths, births and marriages in what is now Northern Ireland, from 1.1.1922 onwards, are not on the irishgenealogy site. Only GRONI have them.

I forgot that post 1922 deaths for Northern Ireland counties like Co. Tyrone are not on irishgenealogy.ie Elwyn provided the correct information.
