Hello,
I’ve been trying to find an Irish ancestor with the name of Michael Quinn. It’s been very difficult and probably will not find where he came from in Ireland but wanted to ask if maybe the traditional Irish family naming pattern might help? He was born around 1812 in Ireland. Sadly, there are no documents that list his parents. He immigrated to the U.S. and got married Mary/Marie Finton/Fenton in the U.S. Their children from oldest to youngest were Charles E. Quinn, Mary L. Quinn, James Joseph Quinn, Susan Ellen Quinn, and Maria Quinn. Would it be possible if Michael named one of his kids after his parents? Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!!
Chris
