A new member planning a visit this Fall

Hello!  My name is Brian Murphy from Canada.  Although I was born and raised in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, I now reside in Calgary, Alberta.  I am a descendent of Michael Murphy, son of Michael and Annie (Gunnip) Murphy from Waterford County.  I have found a record of them living in Faithlegg in the 1901 census and have connected with relatives still residents of Passage East and Waterford City.  My maternal family are McCarron who immigrated to Prince Edward Island, Canada from Belfast and my paternal grandmother was also a Murphy from Newfoundland, who, to date, I have been unable to make a link with her family but I believe her ancestors may also have need from the Waterford area.

I would welcome contact from anyone who might have information that may assist my search and help me focus my time in Ireland this fall.  Thanks for taking the time to read my plea.  I look forward to receiving anything that may be helpful as well as looking forward to my visit to Waterford County!!
