Hello

I have been searching for the graves of my great-grandparents - Patrick McBride, died 05 Jan, 1925 and his wife Elizabeth, died 25 Mar 1898. 

Their three sons are buried in the Magheralough Cemetery.  I have searched all the Kilskeery cemeteries noted in Findmygrave but I cannot locate theirs.

I would appreciate any suggestions or assistance.  Many thanks.

  • The two most likely graveyards in Kilskeery parish are Magheralough and Kilskeery Old.  You have evidently checked both. Possibly the couple are in Magheralough with their sons but are simply not recorded on any gravestone. Have you contacted the parochial office to see if they have any relevant records?

  • Thanks again, Elwyn.  I will contact St McCartans, Trillick for advice,.  Elizabeth was a Maguire from Aughaherrish, Co. Fermanagh....Boho parish.  I thought perhaps she was buried in Sacred Heart Church there but could not find locate a record for her.

    I will let you know if I have any success.

    I would expect Elizabeth to be buried with her husband, though obviously sometimes that didn't happen.
