Dennis Mullins and Ellen Howes were both from Cork, but married in Southwark in September 1835. I'm not sure if the census meant County Cork or just the town. In 1851, Dennis and Ellen have a family in St. Luke's, Islington, including lodgers who I assume are Ellen's much younger brothers Charles and John. Going by some other fluctuating censuses, these are the approximate birthyears:
Dennis Mullins ~ born 1819
Ellen Mullins nee Howes or House ~ born 1819?
Charles Howes or House ~ born 1834
John Howes or House ~ born 1836
I think I might have found Dennis' parents, if he was actually born in 1817, but that's a shrewd idea. And I can't find anything on Ellen or her brothers. I can guess that Dennis might have been Catholic, but I'm not sure about the Howes kids. Plus the siblings' surname is spelt House on the census and Ellen's marriage, but could be Howes or even Howe. Is there anything to find?

Hi,
I had a look at records for Cork and I'm afraid I didn't find anything of relevance. In Cork, records going back to around 1817/1819 are rare, and it is made more difficult when you have no location in Cork. If Ellen and Dennis were married in 1835, it is unlikely that either of them were born in 1819 or 1817. I suppose 1817 is possible, but it is unlikely.
There is a better chance with Charles and John being born in the 1830s, but without a location or approximate location there would be alot of guesswork and speculation. Also, the possible spellings are very different and make a search more challenging.
