I’ve been searching for my Grandfather’s grave for quite a few months now. According to his death notice, he was buried in Burnfort cemetery. He was originally from Mourneabbey & died in 1940. I’m just wondering if anyone here would have any local knowledge of the cemetery and can confirm whether or not I’m searching the correct one. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

  • I looked up  Burnfort graveyard on historicgraves.ie, it does not appear to be recorded.

    you give your grandfathers name, the family may still be there and may be on the Phone book.
