Hi.
I’ve narrrowed my results. I’m looking for a George Talbot b. 1763
Here is my hypothesis from DNA
Benjamin Talbot b. 1792 Rathdowney - Donaghmore Laois
Father : Peter Talbot b. 1762 Mother: Catherine OBrien
Edward Talbot b. 1742
I believe that Peter had a brother George. Anyone able to do any verification of this. Thanks in advance
Wendy

I am of the opinion that Peter had a sibling named George. Whoever is able to perform any kind of verification on this

I have found that George Talbot was listed in the Perogative Wills Index for Ashgrove House (1811) and Valleyfield House ( 1841). He is listed as living in Valleyfield House Laois in 1839 on his marriage certificate to Sophia Harte ( whom would have been a 2nd or 3rd wife .. perhaps) .
There is a great likelihood that this is my George. After returning from Ireland at the end of March and meeting some very distant relatives, I learned George is a common family name and that our family has a long history in Laois ( Abbeyleix, Ballacolla, Durrow ) region. This extends to the family of Talbot in Terryglass ( Ashgrove House).
Anyone with further knowledge of access to Roots Ireland?
