I am looking for any information on my great great grandfather and grandmother.
We believe that Charles was born in County Armagh and is buried, possibly, in Omagh Parish in County Tyrone. We are not aware of where my great great grandmother is buried, but that she emigrated to Canada and is buried there. SHe moved after the death of Charles in 1915. She lived with one of her children who had already moved to Canada.
We know that my great grandfather, John Wilkinson, emigrated with his wife Mary to Canada, then to Buffalo NY. They had 13 children, not all of whom lived past their formative years due to illness or diseases.
We are also looking for information on my great great grandmothers family, ancestors of her father, John McCrory and his wife Margaret Mullin.
We believe my ancestors may have left ireland from Queenstown via ship to Nova Scotia and lived in Canada for some time. Some of the family members stayed in Canada, some settling finally in the Toronto area. We know that one of John and Mary's children, Thomas, became a firefighter in Toronto and died in a fire there. I don't remember the year.
Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated. We are most interested in the history of the Wilkinson family prior to John and Mary Wilkinson and Charles/Bridget Wilkinson. Note that Bridgets maiden name may have been Tierney or Kearney, or something like these spellings. We have seen her name differently in various sources.
Thanks in advance for any help.
