My great grandmother, Ann Crummy was baptized in Armagh. Her parents were, Edward Crummy and Mary Nugent. Looking for any information on my family. Anne immigrated to the United States. I want to visit the place if her birth and my heritage. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

It looks like Catherine, daughter of Edward Crummy, married in 1887. She was living in the townland of Tamlaght.

Death of Mary Crummy in Tamlaght in 1900. Age is given as 65 but that would just be a guesstimate. An error of 10 years or so wouldn’t be unusual. Informant was her son Edward.
Griffiths Valuation for 1864 shows Edward Crummey on plot 11 in Tamlaght.

That was just under 5 acres of land. The Valuation revision records (on the PRONI website) say that Edward Crummy died around 1892, though I can’t see a death that fits that in the statutory records. In 1901 the farm was being rented by Patrick Kelly who owned a nearby farm (plot 12). The Crummy house is no longer listed suggesting it had been demolished.
The Crummy farm today is still farmland (judging by the satellite view). At the end of a lane off the Dernalea Rd. Also accessed off the A3 Monaghan Rd.
