Hi , I am trying to track down a relative who appears on the 1841 census (England) with the following details:
William Maguire, No 21 Harding St Liverpool, age 40. Head of family, occupation Shoemaker, birthplace Ireland.
Other members of the household are as follows:
Elizabeth Maguire. Wife (born Mead?) , age 25. birthplace Ireland.
Mary Maguire. daughter age 8 (born approx 1833) birthplace Ireland.
John Maguire, son. age 3. (born 6/5/1838) birthplace Liverpool
Patrick Maguire, son. age 11months (born 13/6/1840) birthplace Liverpool.
From the ages of the children it suggests only John and Patrick are the children of William and Elizabeth. So William must have had a previous marriage which will have taken place in Ireland. I Have not been able to find any marriage details for William and Elizabeth in Liverpool as yet. but assume it took place at some time in 1837. I only have a hunch that the family roots may lie in the Fermanagh area as I vaguely remember my mother recalling a visit to NI as a child.
I am looking for any advice as to how to proceed from here with the information I have. Can anyone help?

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPQC-MRFY I found this record for a William Maguire who married an Eliza Hannan 2/9/1837 which matches the time frame and as you said the two youngest children fit with this
