Looking for any information on possible birth parents and place of birth for Cecelia Lillian Mullen. According to the 1900 US Census, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she was born December 1837 and was married to Anthony Callahan. The document also states that she immigrated from Ireland to the United States 1854. Cecelia died March 4, 1906. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did Cecelia marry in Ireland or the USA.
Have you got a copy of their marriage certificate and the death record of Cecelia?
The problem with the surname "Mullen" is that it can be recorded as MacMullen, O-Mullan and Mullins.
According to Edward MacLysaght - "Surnames of Ireland - 3rd Edition 1978" it can be historically assigned to two areas - Derry and Galway.

The were married in Pennsylvania, USA, on September 26, 1864. I do have her death certificate but it is only transcription of the marriage from FamilySearch and Ancestry. No parents on both documents. She and Anthony for some reason did not put there parents any documents that I have found.
