My maternal ancestors:

Maurice Hungerville (1766-?) was married in Tralee to Elizabeth Buckley (dates unknown).

They had a son:

Michael Hungiville (1788-?) who married Hanna Fitzgerald (1780-?), both of whom were born in Tralee.

This information came from St. John's in Tralee. The name is often spelled either "Hungerville" or "Hungiville" (as well as other variants). The family is a branch of the Hungerford's in England (from the town of Hungerford, England) who fled to Ireland after falling out of favor with the King.

Any information on any of the above persons would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

    The only baptism record I found on irishgenealogy.ie under the church records tab was for a Barbara Hungerville..

    DOB - 18 Jan 1821

    Address - Tralee

    Parents - Maurice Hungerville & Elizabeth Buckly

    Sponsors - Tobias Jordan & Margaret Grumell

    The birth records for Tralee begin in 1772, but there are gaps. Are you sure about Michael's 1788 BD? Thirty three years between him and Barbara seem like a lot.
