My mother's ancestors came from the Keshcarrigan area of County Leitrim. They lived in Gowly townland and came to America about 1850 at the end of the famine. My family and I plan to visit the area in July 2024. Is there anyone familiar with that area that we could visit with when we are there? If it is easier to communicate directly you can contact me at jimtv@juno.com.

Jim:
Gowly townland is in Kiltubbrid civil parish. I'm not sure if we have a volunteer in that area. However, your trip is eleven months away. If you have not done so already, please complete this form regarding your 2024 trip. https://www.irelandxo.com/meet-and-greet Thanks!

You did not give any information on your ancestors, perhaps you already know or have this information but if you need any help then just post what details you have, names, dates, family line etc and people will try to assist with building and connecting your family line. Hope you have a great trip .
