Hi,

I know this is a long shot, but I found a headstone with James Daly and Lawrence Daly in County Offaly.  One was the father of the other.  My problem is that I thought I saved the image to my computer, but cannot find it.  These are not the Lawrence and James who came to America in the early 1800s, but it's the first that I've seen these names together.  Can you please advise me on how to find this headstone again?  How might I research it further to see if this was family left behind?

    I found the actual graveyard.  It is Rahan Demesne.  The stone is not readable due to mold and holes, etc.  So I'm wondering how they were able to get all the information they provided regarding the epitaph (as I provided below). 

    What do you think? Is there a church that would have the record?

    From Google, I found the following: Rahan Demesne (Raithean) is a townland in Rahan ED, in Rahan Civil Parish, in Barony, in Co. Offaly, Ireland. 

    I'm not sure how to read this.

    If you could enlighten me as to how to proceed with this information, I would appreciate it.  This may be the end of my brick wall!
