I am looking for parents of Honora Kenny 1824. She passed in 1905. I believe Carrowbeg Mayo. She was married to a Thomas Harrington.
Thank you
Alice

You may already be aware of them, but there are records for what appear to be your Honora and Thomas in the FamilySearch database [https://www.familysearch.org]. If you search there, you can find Honora under ID number KH6G-JLD, and can access the records for the others easily through that record, as you will see. They are listed with two children, Martin and Michael, who may be twins, since they are both listed as being born in 1865. There are conflicting records there, however, with one set of birth records for the boys showing them born in Carrowbeg and the other showing them as being born in Kilkelly.
There are actually several townlands in Mayo called Carrowbeg, but I suspect the one you want is in the parish of Kilmovee, because that parish has both a townland called Carrowbeg and one called Kilkelly, and they are fairly close to one another. The confusion in the records may have arisen because one of the parents was from Carrowbeg and the other from Kilkelly. You can see more info about the two townlands at these links:
Carrowbeg: https://www.townlands.ie/mayo/costello/kilmovee/urlaur/carrowbeg/
Kilkelly: https://www.townlands.ie/mayo/costello/kilmovee/kilkelly/kilkelly/
The Catholic parish records for Kilmovee online go back to go 1824 for marriages and 1854 for baptisms, and you can find them at this link:
https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0137
FamilySearch is operated by the LDS church, and is free to use. You have to create an account to use the database, but they don’t ask for much personal info, and no missionaries will contact you or anything like that. The database does not have separate family trees, and is essentially one huge tree of linked records, in which there is a single record for each person, with a unique identification number (although sometimes people unknowingly create duplicate records for the same person, which you can merge when you spot them).

Alice:
I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find an Honor Kenny baptismal record in the area around Kilmovee parish. Kilmovee RC parish baptismal records started in 1854.
I could not find the marriage record for Thomas and Honora but located baptismal records for five children: Mary 1857 Thomas 1859 Martin 1865 Michael 1865 Catherine 1868. There may have been other children.
