You could try and order a copy of some of the birth certificates from GRO Southport.

I see likely births for 3 children in Blackburn:

 Margaret 1876 Blackburn S Quarter Vol 08E page 355

Stephen 1878 D Quarter Vol 08E page 394

Sarah 1884 J Quarter Vol 08E page 398.

I think Bridget’s maiden name was Burke. I can't immediately see a likely marriage in England but possibly they married elsewhere? (I don't see one in Ireland but maybe they married in India?). We really need to get the marriage certificate to get her father's name and occupation. Tracing her without it or knowing a likely parish in Offaly will be challenging. (The 1901 census of the county had 13 people named Bridget Burke. There will have been just a many in the 1840s.).

Ive ordered what I believe is Bridget Harrisons death certificate. I will also attempt to order the birth certificates of her children born in Glasgow, India and Blackburn.
