Hello,
I am searching for information on the Teeling Family in County Meath:
Thomas Teeling (born abt 1800) married Margaret Connell or O'Connell
Their children were:
Ann Teeling (b-abt 1824)
Michael Teeling (b-abt 1827)
Jane Teeling (b-abt 1834)
Bridget Teeling (b-abt 1836)
Thomas may have died in Ireland, as I cannot find him in the US.
Margaret and the children are listed in the 1855 MA census in Uxbridge.
Michael's naturalization papers state that he arrived in Boston on 26 June 1847, and that he was born in Co. Meath.
I thank you in advance for any information you could provide regarding the Teeling family.
Kind regards,
Colette Dillon Waldron

I searched on two subscription sites and did not find any baptismal records for the Teeling children you listed in your message. I also did not find the marriage record. You don't mention religious denomination but I presume that your Teeling ancestors were Roman Catholic. Most Co. Meath RC parishes have records back to the 1830s and earlier but a few do not.
I looked at the 1852 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co.Meath and there were only seven Teeling records. ( I know your Teelings had left Ireland). Two of the seven records were for Duleek civil parish. Coincidentally, records for the RC parish of Duleek do not start until 1852. So possibly, your Teelings were from Duleek civil parish and church records are not available.
Let me know if you have questions. Have you tested your DNA?
