Who was Elizabeth "Betsey" Ladley, born about 1794 in Belturbet, County Cavan, Ireland?

You don't mention religion but I assume Betsey was Church of Ireland. The records for Belturbet C of I church go back to 1801 and appear to be held locally in Co. Cavan. I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and the earliest Ladley baptismal record that I located was in 1829 in the C of I church in Cavan town.

With a 1794 alleged year of birth likely Betsey's baptismal record is not available.

In the 1796 Flax Growers List I found:

Leadly              Thomas                Annagh parish                Cavan

Belturbet was also known as Annagh.

I have no information about when Betsey emigrated, or where, but I'm guessing it was to Canada.

I have had my DNA tested by the Family Tree DNA people.  I've tested to the Y-111 and Full Sequence mtDNA levels, as well as the autosomal Family Finder tests, but I am unsure how that will help in this case.

The autosomal test will provide matches. You may have distant matches with descendants of siblings of Betsey?

I've been checking my matches for several years now, but no help in the Ladley area.  I failed to respond to the religion question earlier.  I know nothing about Betsey's religious affiliations.
