Looking for anybody that knows of a Thomas Galligan born 1810 in County Leitrim and married to Catherine Pryor born 1811 who immigrated to Wethersfield Wyoming County, New York USA. Thomas's father was a Edward Galligan that never came to America

    I don't know if you are on Ancestry, but there are a number of trees for Thomas Galligan there. The only reliable records on his profile are those from the US after he emigrated. One record that might help you is the 1875 NY Census that shows he is living in Wethersfield next door to a Patrick Galligan, his wife Mary and their six children. The eldest son of Patrick is Edward. There is a 22 year age gap between Thomas and Patrick, so not entirely sure they are siblings.

The record for Patrick Galligan, his wife Mary and daughter Catherine is also on this census.
