Hi,
I'm trying to trace my ancestry on my great grand mother's side. Her name is Annie Tipp. All that I know is that she married at age 23 to a Valentine Do Rozario on 4 May 1891 in Hong Kong (from original Marriage certificate) . Annie's father was stated as William Arthur Tipp who was deceased at the time of the marriage. Apparently William Tipp migrated? to Australia at some stage - probably mid 1800's. I have tried to search Australian records but no success yet. Any help, suggestions would be appreciaed.
Thanks. Ray Do Rozario, Brisbane, Australia

I could not find any Tipp baptismal records or land records with the surname Tipp. I also did not locate a good variant name for Tipp. Have you considered DNA testing? Your closer matches may have more information on the origins of the Tipp family.

Hi Roger,
Thanks so much for researching records for Tipp. Appreciate it! No, I haven't had a DNA done but my cousin has so will have
a chat with him first about the results. Maybe the Surname Tipp is of English origen?
