My 3rd great grandparent, Frank or Francis Henry born, records in England state, "Sligo Ireland". Left Ireland for England and I believe married there, wife unknown: two children Robert born around 1850 Scarborough, England and Bridget born 1851 "York or Yorkshire" England. Frank and his son Robert were bricklayers.
Many DNA matches on Henry line have County Mayo and County Sligo as birth locations.
I'm looking for his parents. Mother might have been a Flannigan (or O'Hara, Murphy or Ryan)
Anyone also working on Henry family lines in Mayo or Sligo? I understand there are A LOT of Henrys there.

Linda:
Very few Co. Sligo RC parishes have records back to the 1820s. I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and the earliest Francis Henry baptismal record in either Sligo or Mayo was in 1845 so likely a baptismal record for your Francis does not exist.
I looked at the 1858 Griffiths Valuation data for Co. Sligo and the majority of the Henry households were in Achonry civil parish which is in southern Sligo close to the Mayo border. likely your ancestors came from that parish.
