Hi there- I'm trying to do some genealogy research about my 3rd and 4th great grandparents who were both from the Manor Hamilton/Cloonclare, Leitrim area. I can't seem to get beyond 1800. They appear to be Church of Ireland, my 3rd great grandfather becoming a circuit minister near Philadelphia and Delaware after the familiy emigrated to America.
My mother is 80 yo and is wishing to visit the area finally, and we are hoping to track down some records to piece together their lives in the area a bit, and go back further in the geneaology.
Thank you in advance for any pointers or assistance!

Tod: The records for the Church of Ireland parish of Manorhamilton/Cloonclare start in 1816 and are available on the subscription site Roots Ireland. I can't tell from your note when your Wallace ancestors left Ireland. Roots Ireland has some Wallace baptismal records starting in 1818. Can you clarify? Roger McDonnell
