The 1926 census is to be digitised and made available by the National Archives of Ireland. It is due to be published online in April 2026.

Sadly the 1926 census only covers the 26 counties of what is now the Republic of Ireland. The portion for the 6 counties of what is now Northern Ireland has been lost.
