Charter schools were found by the Chartered Society in 1733 for the purpose of educating poor Roman Catholic children in the Protestant (Anglican) Religion in Ireland.

The school in Rahoon was apparently used later by the British Army.

In fact, it turns out that similar sites, archives, and records from schools, and other educational or state institutions can tell such a long and deep history to almost every family.
