Hello,
I'm looking for my gg grandparents, Patrick Connolly and Rose Macdonald. Patrick and Rose were both born in Cootehill, Cavan. Patrick was born around 1839 and Rose about 1842.
Patrick left Ireland around 1860 and settled in Pierce City, Missouri. Rose left Ireland around 1868. Patrick and Rose married, probably in Missouri, but that is unclear.
Any information about Patrick and Rose's parents and other family would be greatly appreciated!

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and there were three Rose McDonald baptismal records for Cootehill/Drumlane RC parish.
Rose McDonald baptized September 29 1839 father Charles McDonald mother Margaret Malone
Rose McDonald baptized November 12 1842 father Owen McDonald mother Ellen Coyle
Rose McDonald baptized December 8 1842 father Hugh McDonald mother Mary Ford
There were a number of Patrick Connolly records in the parish 1835 (3) 1836 1837 1838 1840 (2)

I assume you don't have any specifics on the names of Patrick's parents? What were the names of the children of Patrick and Rose in age order. Have you considered DNA testing?
