Migrated to/Born in New Zealand
My two-times great grandfather was baptised in Magheralin on 12 September 1830. We believe he worked as a weaver but know little about his family/background.
He married Mary Kain on 29 October 1861 in Lurgan.
They had two sons, Arthur and John, and then immigrated to New Zealand in 1872 onboard the Bebington.
There they had two daughrters, Jane Elizabeth and Louisa (my great-grandmother).
Edward died on 12 February 1909 at Rangiwahia in the Manawatu-Wanganui region. He apparently broke his neck after being thrown from his horse.
