Researching Eliza Moseley my 3GG. She arrived in Melbourne, Australia in 1849 on the Pemberton as part of the Earl Grey Scheme for Irish Orphan Girls.
Her parents were Thomas Moseley and Esther Penrose.
I am not sure what happened to Thomas, but Esther Penrose arrived in Australia in 1855 to be with her daughter.
I am seeking any information from Ireland as to when she was born, when her parents were born (who were their parents?). Their marriage records and Thomas death records.
Eliza and her mother died in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia.
