I am looking for any information on the parents or any siblings of my gg grandfather John McClelland.  He was born in Armagh, Northern Ireland in 1818 and emigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1837,accompanied by his sister Jane. We have no other information on exactly where he was born but he accompanied a Benjamin Williscroft and their families during there journey's for most of their lives.  The Williscrofts were from Shankill.  Possible father of my gg  grandfather may have been John (1796-1853) of Leghacorry Armagh. His father may have been William McClelland and wife Eleanor of Armagh.

My gg grandfather John married Margaret Blackburn, b. 1896, Aghold, County Wicklow, on  March, 24,  1838 in Perth, Ontario, Canada.  They first lived in Leeds County, Ontario, Canada and had four children there, Samuel, 1839; Jane, 1840; John, 1843; and George, 1847.  In 1849, along with the Williscroft's, they relocated to Grey County, Ontario, Canada and continued farming there. They had 5 more children there, William, 1850, James 1853, Thomas, twin, 1853, Joseph 1855 and Mary, 1857. GG grandfather John died in 1859 from pneumonica. Several  of the boys became plasterers, lathers and masons.
