I am searching for information about my great grandmother Bridget Manion, She was the daughter of Michael Manion and Mary Née. She was born in 1844 and lived in Clifden, Galway. She married Festus McDonagh about 1870 and bore him three children, Festus 1871, Della 1871 and one other. Festus died about 1875. Bridget immigrated to USA and married Michael Conley. Michael Conley was my great grandfather. He was born in the Clifden area about 1850.
Any information on these individuals or their families would be appreciated.

Transcriptions at rootsireland show that Festus and Bridget married in the parish of Roundstone 20 Mar 1867. He was 34, she 23. You can see the register at irishgenealogy.ie.
They had children Bridget, b. 7 Jan. 1868 in parish of Clifden, and William, b. 21 Apr. 1869, also in Clifden. I also see children Patrick, Daniel, and Joseph, all born in Kilccummin Oughterard, but I’m not sure it is the same couple.
The child you call “Della” may be “Delia,” which is a nickname for Bridget.

Thank you for the information. Until very recently I had not known my Great Grandmother's name nor where in Ireland she and my great grandfather had come from. I wonder if there is any record of my great grandfather, Michael Conley, who was from the same area as Bridget Manion. The story I have handed down to me is that they were childhood friends. He was younger, born about 1850.
Again, thank you very much for your help.Robert O'Toole

Thanks, however this is likely a different Bridget and Michael Conley. My grandmother, their daughter was born in Pennsylvania, USA in 1876 and they were Mattie's in Pittsburgh in 1875.
I appreciate the effort and want to thank you.
