Looking for one Bridget Feeney from Corafin. Born circa February 2nd 1866. Immigration was 1884 to New York from queenstown. Ship was the Brittania. Any help with relatives and family would be welcome. Thanks!

Sean:
See the fifth record at this link https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1866/03537/2302029.pdf
Would this be the correct record?
I could not locate a Corafin in Co. Galway. The closest would be Corrafaireen. There is a also the town of Corrafin in Co. Clare.

Thanks Roger, that looks promising. Can you tell me how I can access the other areas you mentioned she may have come from?

Hi Sean,
Emigrants often declared they were 18 years old at the time. There is a Birth record in Corofin Parish, Galway also referred to as Cummer or KIlmoylan parish.
The townland is Curry. Attaching a copy of Civil Birth Registration record for Bridget born 14th January 1867 to William Feeney & Bridget Clarke.
Note from copy of Church records that the period 1860 to 1872 is not available.
Link to 1901 Census record for William & Bridget Feeney http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Galway/Cummer/Curry_Ei…;
Attached copies of Death records for William & Bridget Feeney. William's brother Bryan Feeney was present at both. This appears to indicate that they had no family in Ireland at that time.
I have a lot of research completed on Bryan/Brian/Bernard Feeney and his family. you may contact me at gerlisheen@gmail.com
